This Ganni skirt was on my wishlist at Net-a-Porter for weeks! The moment I saw it I loved it. I waited a long time to get it, because it was very expensive. I saved up for it and finally got it and I love it! Although it is totally see-through so I had to go and get special spanx to wear with it. It also is cut very tight around the waist. The waistband is not elastic. It is rather like a grosgrain ribbon so it doesn’t give at all. I do not really have a slim waist so I had to size up – normally I am a 34 in Ganni so I got the 36 in this skirt. I got the 34 originally, it was too tight, so I sent it back and got the 36.
I probably included too many pictures in this post but I figure, why not? It’s not every day I wear a floor length see-through maxi so better document it!
I hope you have a fabulous Saturday! I woke up at 5:30 AM to start watching the Royal Wedding coverage live and it was worth it. The outfits were just stunning. Each one was better than the last! Meghan and Harry look so happy together. Of course, I cried on and off throughout. I don’t know about you, but I always cry at weddings. Happy tears! Our anniversary is on Monday so I started scrolling through our wedding photos. I got an ache in my heart as that was one of the happiest days of my life, and looking back at the photos to relive the day is always so lovely.
