I love this striped midi dress for everyday because it is so practical and is unlike any of the dresses I already own! I often love to wear dresses, even for everyday errands or the school pickup. For me, a dress feels almost easier that a sweater and jeans sometimes! I do already have quite a collection of floral midi dresses, and prairie dresses. But this striped dress is not really like any of my other ones! First of all, it has the prettiest kind of woven metallic colored stripes all through it. Second, it is made of a a lightweight breathable linen-like fabric so even though it is a dark color, it actually is going to be perfect for slightly warmer spring temps. I added the belt and one of my new Lele Sadoughi headbands, and it makes a fun OOTD!
Today is my older daughter’s 9th birthday! I cannot believe how fast 9 years have gone. I look at her and still see that little baby/toddler/sweet little girl and can’t believe this is the last year of single digits. Being a mother is bittersweet – of course you are happy they grow up happy and healthy but you want to savor every moment because it goes by so so fast!
