Dress: The Frankie Shop | Boots: Isabel Marant | Bag: Staud
Throwing it back to a couple of weeks ago when I wore this to the 4th grade class cocktail party, when it was still warm enough to go without tights! The dress is by The Frankie Shop. There has been a lot of buzz about The Frankie Shop over the past few months – it is the “affordable brand we saw all the editors wearing at Fashion Week” according to Who What Wear. So back in September when I was doing some fall shopping, I saw that Net-a-Porter carries The Frankie Shop. It was a no brainer for me to try this Loulou twill midi dress. I was surprised at the price ($200) considering The Frankie Shop is described as high end fashion clothes for women. I was also surprised at how much I love wearing the dress. All the hype is for good reason! At first I thought it might be a bit utilitarian for me, but actually it is so flattering. It is one I keep reaching for again and again because it always seems appropriate, it is so comfortable, and it is very chic!
The Frankie Shop started in NYC, and they opened a boutique in the Marais in Paris in 2016 that carries brands like Ganni and Nanushka as well as their own brand. Keep an eye out for The Frankie Shop and their surprisingly affordable pieces! I want to get the jumpsuit (see pic below) next – it is in my cart!
Here are some of my favorite items from The Frankie Shop right now that you can buy on Net-a-Porter:
Happy Saturday and thanks for stopping by!
