Today is Black Friday! So many deals out there right now. It’s overwhelming! It is actually intimidating shopping today, because there is so much choice! I try to reserve today and this coming weekend for purchases of items I have had my eye on already, like a winter coat, or boots, rather than making impulse buys. It’s hard though because there are so many deals! And I have to say, it is also a great time to stock up on clothes you can wear to holiday occasions because Thanksgiving and Black Friday officially kick off the holiday party season!
Over the next several weeks you will need several outfit options to wear to holiday lunches, drinks events, even ice skating parties! This skirt and blouse would be perfect. Rather than wearing black pants and a sparkly top or blazer (which is a uniform of lots of NYC women at the holidays) why not change things up and wear something a little different – more feminine and fun like this skirt, which is called the “snow flurry skirt”. I love it because it is made of a stretchy flannel material with white pom poms sewn all over it. Dress it down with a white knit and boots, or dress it up with the feminine red blouse I’ve got on here! And of course the whole outfit is 30% off today at Anthropologie!
