This chunky knit cardigan is perfect for fall! It’s from Chicwish, which makes the best knits and sweaters for amazing prices. The items are always so unique. I started shopping there about 5 or 6 years ago, and literally every single time I wear something from them I get so many compliments. I have wanted one of these chunky pom pom Chicwish cardigans since last year, and I am so glad I finally got one for this fall. I also love how bright and clear the pink is, normally you might expect this type of sweater to only come in a neutral so the pop of pink is unexpected and fun!
We took these pictures out in front of Laughing Man coffee in Tribeca, near where we live. It is the best place for coffee in our neighborhood and is owned by Hugh Jackman! There are two Laughing Man coffee shops in lower Manhattan that are part of the Laughing Man Foundation – which Hugh Jackman established to support coffee farmers and farming communities and invests in programs such as housing and college scholarships for coffee farmers and their families. It is pretty cool! And the coffee is amazing so the next time you are in Tribeca you should stop in Laughing Man! It has the cutest outdoor seating area in one of the most picturesque squares in Tribeca.
So let’s now talk briefly about comfortable weekend outfits! This outfit is exactly what I wear on the weekends around my neigborhood with my husband and daughters. Sneakers are a must and layers and comfort are key. The bag looks glamorous but the fact that it is cross-body is all-important. And everything I’m wearing is cotton, soft against the skin, and can be machine washed. I always like to get “dressed” even when I am just going for coffee or taking the kids to the park. Athleisurewear can be fun too, but I don’t like to wear it all day long every day. And this Chicwish chunky cardigan for fall is the perfect fun quirky piece to top off a monochromatic jeans and t-shirt look, or denim skirt look like I’ve got on here.
