I splurged on these Isabel Marant sneakers over the holidays. They have a built in hidden wedge that makes you a little bit taller! I am 5’6″ but I always love to get that extra bit of elongating height! Plus, they have velcro fastening which makes for easy on and off. I am tempted to get this pair as well by Zadig & Voltaire – they also have a hidden wedge, plus a zip fastening so you don’t have to bother with laces! They are a bit more streamlined and elegant, my Isabel Marant ones are pretty chunky!
How to wear high tops? They look great with pushed up joggers that show a little skin above the tops of the sneaker. They also look amazing with skirts (a tulle skirt, a satin skirt, or a denim skirt) – and of course with jeans! I also love traditional Converse high tops, and this pair have a platform if, like me, you like to get that little bit of extra height.

These are some of my current favorite high tops:
Also, this blazer by & Other Stories has been one of my favorites since I got it last winter. I also have it in black and I am so glad I invested in both colors. It is more like a hybrid coat / blazer – it’s wool is more of the thickness of a coat than a blazer. Never losing its shape, it elevates any outfit, plus it is roomy enough to wear over a sweatshirt (this funnel neck sweatshirt I’m wearing under the blazer in these photos is from Banana (on sale). I got it for my mom too, and we both wear it all the time.
Hope everyone has a great day and a great week! Happy new year!
