(old, similar budget version here)
I am not usually a clothes shopper at Target. But every once in awhile I browse the clothing section when I’m in the store to buy toiletries or groceries. I go to the Target in Tribeca near our apartment at least once a week (it’s a mini Target, but it has a big clothing section on the ground floor when you walk in!). A couple of Saturdays ago I was there in the early morning, after having gone for a run, and I was all sweaty – and the new clothing displays caught my eye! They have so much great stuff right now from their store brand Prologue! I spied his shirt dress right away ($22) and it reminded me of something from Theory or Tibi – so I tossed it in my cart, along with a couple other tops and skirts to try on at home (once I showered of course!).
I styled the $22 shirt dress two ways for this post. For a dressier look for the office, you can add a belt and pumps as I did with the first look. For the weekend, wear it with sneakers and a cross-body bag (see below)! I don’t normally gravitate towards minimalism (I usually love ruffles and more feminine / girly styles), but there is something about this dress that I just love. My husband even complimented me on it, and he never notices what I wear! And guys, it is $22. Target has some great neutrals right now, so if you are interested, go to the nearest store and check out the Prologue line. I also got a pale yellow blouse with a sash waist and a beige cargo skirt that will be up here in the next week or so, so stay tuned!
Thanks for reading!
