Not just your regular white blouse and khaki pants…!  This white blouse from Zara was such a fun purchase!  Considering it is strapless, it has been surprisingly wearable!  It is basically a tube top that zips up the side, with a very large flounce over the bodice and sleeves.  It makes a fun statement!  Pair it with any pair of neutral paper bag waist pants and some fun mules and you’ve got an outfit that you can wear around town during the day, or to dinner!  And maybe even to work, depending on your field.  The oversized clutch I also picked up from Zara.  It reminds me of the new oversized Bottega clutches I have been coveting!

Currently we are in Martha’s Vineyard!  We are here until Friday.  It is wonderful here.  We have rented a house with our close family friends who have kids exactly our daughters’ ages and have been going to the beach, the pool, and eating lots of lobster and seafood!  Being from California I have not spent a lot of time in New England.  When I was in high school, my parents sent me to an academic summer session for six weeks at Andover Phillips Academy and we went on the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard for a day, but I can barely remember it was so long ago.  A whole different experience to come as an adult with your family!  I hope we can make it an annual trip!

Hope everyone is having a great week and thanks for reading!
