Tomorrow is the first day of Spring! You all know what that means… it is time to start thinking about some spring dresses and spring florals! This Chicwish dress is literally the perfect springtime dress for any special occasion – graduations, baby showers, even weddings! It has the most beautiful floaty skirt and is a flattering cut.
I chose to pair the dress with heels from Zara from over a year ago. They are still some of my favorite heels in my closet! I love their bright orange-red hue which brings out the flowers in the dress, but I could just as easily imagine wearing this dress with pale blue or white heels. Or even nude heels!
Chicwish is always my go-to for feminine dresses and skirts and even really beautiful fluffy sweaters and knits. All of their designs are feminine and beautiful and reasonably priced. One of my favorite brands and I buy a few dresses and skirts from them every single season, year after year, and their pieces never go out of style!
I’ve got both my daughters at home this week with me! They are on spring break! Today I am taking them to the American Girl doll store to get outfits for their dolls. I feel like they are finally really getting into their American Girl dolls now, for a long time their dolls just sat in their room untouched and they preferred to play with Barbies. Our plans to visit family in California this week got canceled because my older daughter has been sick with the flu, and I was so sad as I miss my mom and my 93 year old grandmother so much! But, we are making the best of it and having a staycation in New York City this week! And next week we are flying to Aruba for the second week of their break. I cannot wait for some warmer weather!
