Back to School Outfits From Dillard's

Back to school shopping with my girls is so much fun! We spend our summers in Lake Tahoe, and for the past few years we make a few trips to the Dillard’s store in Reno because they have an absolutely amazing kids’ department! We stock up on back to school dresses in August for their return to school after Labor Day. I always end up buying summer weight clothing in a fall color scheme – it is too hot until at least Halloween to wear sweaters or heavy clothing.

The cream colored long puffed sleeve dresses on my girls are soft light fabric – they can be worn now into fall and once cooler temps arrive they can wear them with tights and boots. The brand Chelsea & Violet at Dillard’s has become a new fave for both me and my girls (all our dresses in the photos are by this brand). Sizing wise they carry ages 7-16, and you may not know this but it is really hard to find “tween” age clothing for girls. Not many brands carry this age group. My older daughter is 9 and it is hard finding cute clothes in her size. So glad to find the brand Chelsea & Violet for that reason.
