So many great coats on sale right now! I got this IRO checked coat for 40% off in the Net-a-Porter pre-sale in early November. I love it! And now it is on sale at 3 retailers (have linked above). It is so warm and I love the neutral plaid. I also got my snakeskin By Far ankle boots for 40% off in that same sale. Although they are no longer marked down, they are amazing. I wear them ALL the time. They go with so many things and I love how they have a slim fit along the foot and ankle. I found a very similar pair, but more budget friendly (and still real leather), on ASOS, here. (As a side note, I am LOVING ASOS right now, again. I used to shop there constantly and then took a break, but now I am so back into it – truly amazing pieces and I love the 2 day shipping).
We’ve been so busy with Christmas already! On Saturday our daughters’ school in the West Village had their annual Christmas fair, which is so much fun! I worked most of the day selling raffle tickets but at the end I got to go shopping in the boutique and have a champagne with my girlfriends. After being at the school for almost 5 years (since my oldest started in Kindergarten) we’ve formed some really lovely friendships. I love the other parents and love the school and it is so much fun to go to school events now. And on Sunday we got our Christmas tree! We put it up, put the lights on, and decorated it all in the same afternoon and evening! It looks so pretty. I think this has to be my favorite time of year.
