One trend we will be seeing a lot of this spring are pleated pants! Tailoring and menswear inspired styles have been more dominant over the past few years and now, finally, it seems almost every brand has a pair of pleated trousers, pants or jeans in its spring collection. Personally I love pleated pants! Many of my friends are reluctant to try them – they think they will be unflattering – but all I can say is remember when Kate Moss first wore her skinny jeans back in the early 2000’s and it just took time to get used to the new silhouette? I feel like pleated pants are the same. For pear shapes they emphasize a tiny waist, and on apples like me, they make the larger waist look smaller! They can definitely suit different body types.
