The baggy jean trouser and the Simon Miller bag

Jeans: 3×1, similar less expensive here, light blue ones here, here and here, wider leg ones here, under $70 Gap culotte ones here | Top: See by Chloe | Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell | Bag: Simon Miller (sold out but similar here and tan version here) | Earrings: Sachin & Babi

I spotted these jeans on the Shopbop website a few weeks ago and snapped them up.  They run really big though, so I had to size down to a 24.  I have never in my life worn a 24 jean so not sure what is going on.  But anyway, I love these jeans!  They look more like trouser pants with their pleats and they are made of a very soft denim.  They can be worn in summer or winter.  I linked a bunch of different trouser jeans at the top of the post if you like the idea of pleated trouser jeans.

Also, this bag was one of my purchases in the Net-a-Porter sale and I’m in love. They come in all kinds of colors and handle variations and sizes.  This one is the Bonsai Nubuck 30.  The 15 is the tiniest one.  I think there is an in-between size 20 too, which I linked above.  I plan to use this all summer – even when we are in Tahoe and go to the beach and the pool I can stuff so much in like beach towels and swim goggles.  Or, it is a fun shopping tote.  I love the primary colors on the marbleized perspex/plastic handle.

Finally, just a few words on this top.  I debated and debated getting it.  It is expensive for a t-shirt even with the embroidered stitching and ruffled sleeves.  But I ordered it anyway because I couldn’t stop looking at it online.  I got it from Farfetch on sale, and I ended up keeping it and it is one of those shirts I wear when I don’t know what else to put on.  It goes with any jeans, denim skirt, or denim shorts and looks cute with the red earrings and goes with my new Simon Miller bag.

We are now in California and settling in.  We leave for Yosemite on Thursday!  We are going for 4 days with the entire extended family so that will be fun!  I still have tons of outfit photos from NYC to post so I will be taking pics here but also posting pictures of clothes I’ve already shot with Lydia in NYC.

I hope everyone is having a great week and enjoying summer so far!  Thanks for reading!
