Before I got this skirt from Chicwish, I never thought I would ever try to convince anyone that a tulle midi skirt is an essential item for one’s closet! I guess I’d thought they looked a bit fanciful and impractical. But honestly, I have worn this skirt so often lately, in so many ways, that I actually do think of it now as a basic.
Here are the pros, why I love it:
Comfort: It has an elastic waist, and is lined with soft cotton. So you just pull it on and voila.
Versatility: It looks cute with sneakers, heels, or boots. It even looks cute with white Gucci tights and white pumps. You can style it with sweaters, t-shirts or blouses. Dress it up, dress it down. You can even belt it as I have done here.
Style: Every time I wear it I get compliments. Every single time. It has that wow factor! Even though it is a simple skirt, it makes you feel feminine and fun.
Price: Most of them are only around $60.
The only con is that it is DEFINITELY not appropriate for a corporate environment. I know this is true! But you can wear it on weekends or on days off with abandon!
I love tulle skirts so much now, that I am going to order a couple in other colors. I especially want a white one and a black one! Have linked a few cute ones at a great price points at the top of this post.
